# Token Generation Event (TGE) Structure

The Token Generation Event (TGE) occurred November 5, 2024. During the TGE, **10% of the maximum** **token supply (100,000,000 $OSMI)** was minted and allocated as follows:

### Node Rewards (50% - 50,000,000 $OSMI)

* 50% of minted tokens are distributed to node operators for developing and maintaining the OSMI ecosystem during the pre-launch phase of OSMI development
* Node operators running the OSMI backend and inference were rewarded for uptime
* This distribution will vest over 90 days, starting at the same time as the initial public node license offering, November 25, 2024
* Vesting follows the same vesting period and rules as all other nodes

### KOLs, Listings, and Market Making (20% - 20,000,000 $OSMI)

* 20% of the tokens are allocated for exchange listings, market making, and liquidity activities.
* Collaboration with reputable market makers will ensure sufficient liquidity and market stability.

### Project Fund (20% - 20,000,000 $OSMI)

* Funds reserved for the project’s ongoing development, operational costs, and future initiatives.
* Ensures sustainable growth and continuous development of real-world value and utility for the $OSMI ecosystem.

### Referral Program (10% - 10,000,000 $OSMI)

* 10% is set aside for referral incentives, encouraging community growth and engagement.
* Rewards are distributed based on community participation and successful referrals, contributing to organic ecosystem expansion.
